We held our first talk of the year in the Intoart studio. See the photos in the Studio Artists weblog page. You will soon be able to read a transcript on the Intoart website of the writing that Clifton, Ntiense and Doreen read about their artwork at the April event.

NADA Art Fair in Miami

Intoart artists Angela Campbell, Doreen McPherson and Mawuena Kattah will be exhibiting artwork on the Studio Voltaire stall at this years NADA fair in Miami 4th - 7th December.

Hoardings Artwork
We celebrated the installing of the hoardings artwork on Saturday 22nd November. You can see the artwork on site at Claredale Street, Bethnal Green E2 until the end of 2009. See the Studio Blog for photos.

A collection of new paintings, prints and drawings by the Studio Project artists.

Different Spaces features a diversity of individual work that ranges from bold and graphic screenprints influenced by Islamic pattern and plantlife to detailed studies of stones and rocks found on the beach of Ovingdean Undercliff near Brighton.

Space Mapping Exhibition

Intoart artists have been working with members of Rathbone Youth Project to make artwork and a new book in response to the exhibition, Radical Loyalty by Chris Evans and research trips to Battersea Powerstation.
Space Mapping is an exhibition of artwork produced through a series of workshops that include animation, installation, sculpture, printmaking and drawing.

Our current project "Space Mapping" at Studio Voltaire in Clapham involves a group from the Rathbone Youth Project making new work over a two-month period in the education space. To view the weblog that the group have designed and will update through out the project please click here. The group will spend time making their own work and looking at the new exhibition by artist Chris Evans. Chris Evans has a close relationship with sculpture parks. Evans re-imagines what the use of these places might be. His project Radical Loyalty, showcased at Studio Voltaire, projects what a sculpture park driven by global capitalism might look like.
