Intoart artists collective are working with members of the Rathbone Youth Project in response to the Mark Dion exhibition at the South London Gallery. New work produced during the Animal Mineral Vegetable project will be presented in a week-long exhibition at the South London Gallery. A publication will accompany the show and will be available at the gallery.
Over a series of 10 workshops, incorporating four full day workshops at the Tate Britain, twelve members of The Grange Project have developed new work in a variety of media. This work will be presented in a group publication ‘Drawing Colour’ that will accompany a two-week exhibition at the A.P.T Gallery in Deptford.
Young people have been developing their own responses to the poem ‘The Jabberwocky‘ by Lewis Carroll to create a new production being performed on Saturday 3rd April 2004. Oval House Youth Theatre has brought the poem to life using elements of traditional storytelling. Young people from The Rathbone Youth Club worked with Intoart Artists collective, during ten workshops the group made the set and costumes for the performance.
Intoart has worked with eight members of the Grange Project in Southwark over nine weeks to make an exhbition at the House Gallery in Camberwell. A large group painting of a landscape that references both imagined and real landscapes fills one wall of the gallery. The Group have curated their own paintings and drawings in the remaining space of the gallery. A full colour publication, designed by the group, accompanies the exhibition.
